Our first stop on the trail is an view of Hebgen Lake.
Our first view of Lionhead is covered by the low clouds.
Lionhead is a mountain summit in Gallatin County in the state of Montana. Lionhead climbs to 9,547 feet (2,909.93 meters) above sea level.
The only wildlife we saw on the trail.

Eating lunch near the top of Lionhead.
Trail was well marked and went through beautiful meadows with wildflowers.
Toward the end of the trail we were able to view the Yellowstone valley.
